I was testing out some newly acquired cards today and when I got to the GF 5900 Ultra, I was presently surprised that it displayed. However I was getting orange lines (below) when the card posted and then the system didn't proceed to the mobo post screen.

My first reaction is to assume that this is a memory issue but typically I've seen thin green lines and not the fat orange ones when it's a memory issue. A few posts around the internet suggested this was a seating issue so I cleaned the traces with IPA but with no luck. Judging by the heat sink that came with the card, this guy has seen a fair amount of (excessive?) heat so I'm wondering if it's an issue with the GPU chip itself or the solder joints (i.e. solder got reflowed then made a poor joint after it cooled). Any thoughts on this? I would love to get this card back up and operational. For reference, I'm using a Jetway P4MVMP as my test motherboard.
