I'm cleaning out my old hardware drawers, and found some stuff I'll never do anything with, since these are AGP graphics cards (and a PCI one), and I don't even have an AGP motherboard. It concerns the following cards:

ELSA NVidia Riva 128ZX
ATi Rage IIC
ATi Rage Pro Turbo (2x)
ATi Rage XL (PCI)

So what to do with these? Throw them in the (electrical waste) bin?

How about Mac users? Wasn't ATI Rage IIc being supported by Mac OS 9 or something?
Ok, the PCI bus speed and the firmware might be different.
But the chips as such were supported by old Power PC Macintoshs.

Use for soldering practice or as a reference for when you write CIF wrappers for other APIs. Old graphics cards aren't particularly hard to keep around.

These are not overpriced like 3dfx videocards on fleabay and you'll make no money from them, but I don't think scrapping them is a good choice. Better off give them to someone who collects old videocards. I would be glad to have a Riva 128ZX card, but on my local flea-market it's impossible to find such a card.

You may be surprised what sells.
I had a bidding war on a boring PCI Mach 64 card.
I mean starting price was $1 and it sold for $10, but I was surprised it sold at all!
