Google is not being too helpful.

I'd like to replace playing music from usual DOS trackers into a single Windows program, for convenience.

Do any of the early Windows trackers support GUS as sampler or they just do regular PCM?

Hi, there are multiple releases of 2.40, AFAIK. Some support direct hardware access, some don't.

One of the authors had compiled a new binary in the Windows Vista days, I vaguely remember.
Without the support for GF1, OPL4 (MediaTrix AudioTrix Pro) and EWS64, of course.

This 2.40 Last Beta build still has hardware mode, I remember:

Then there's also a version with an, um, "dark mode" look ("new skin")..

Edit: Changelog of 1997-1-9 says: OPL4 support temporarily disabled
So users with an OPL4 soundcard with sample RAM must use 2.30?

I don't know about the GUS Classic drivers, but the Windows 3.1x Interwave/PnP drivers have direct support for module playback in Media Player (via a MCI driver). The format list isn't extensive, but it does work.

GUS Classic is a Windows 3.1x friendly card. Windows 9x support is universally poor.

I am aroused about any X86 motherboard that has full functional ISA slot. I think i have problem. Not really into that original (Turbo) XT,286,386 and CGA/EGA stuff. So just a DOS nut.
PS. If I upload RAR, it is a 16-bit DOS RAR Version 2.50.

I have GUS Pnp and yep the media player in win95 works for modfiles and others.

I thought there may be a tracker out there able to run a playlist.

Ideally it would look like a tracker because I like seeing what is played, but playlist is more important.

So if media player had a playlist that would be awesome, but it doesn't as far as I can tell. And media player is just a thin MCI host. I've been looking through WinAMP and it seems it doesn't have an MCI plugin which is unusual.
