i have a HIS X1950Pro 256mb AGP for repair.

replaced gpu, rialto bridge chip.

Card not starting, post code 25. It is booting with pci cards as a primary and here is a weird behavior:

Card has changed device id for both asics: rialto and RV570.

i removed the bios chip and...:

card has been detected correctly.

i can load a card bios from file using rambios.com DOS utility and i get a picture!
fully functional card!

i tried flashing all variant of 256mb bios from TechPowerUp site and they all have same changed id. it may be different, but changed!

is there anyone who know atombios? what is responsible for changing device id and what is the reason for it?
