The V330 because that's a Riva 128 which can cover certain D3D and GL things a 3dfx VG can't reach, potentially faster for some games, and has less problems than the Virge. It'll work. Peak 1997 3D right there, just a PowerVR missing.

Second that in most circumstances but can you tell us a little more about the system?
On a fast 486 or low pentium the Riva would be overkill (just as the voodoo). Cpu wil be the bottleneck.
Paired with a faster MMX, K6-2 or celeron these do make much more sense.

The Monster came out of a P1 mmx 200 asus ab-sm5-a mb with the stealth board.
I want to put into a Asus TX97-E MB with a K2 of K3 at 300mhz
I think this a good match, but I'm only 75% sure of that.

I think the V330 will be a good match for those later games where the Voodoo 1 will run out of steam. I think this should be a great system for 1997 games and earlier.
