A month or so ago, I purchased on eBay unused ALi Aladdin V north bridge (M1541) from an electronics component seller named top-chips located in Shenzhen, China.
I bought 2 of them for around $15 or so each.
The picture shown in the eBay listing had a 9845 date code marking, but I got 9911 date code marking parts (nothing wrong here since the part might be newer or older than shown in the picture).
I got Rev. E parts since the last alphabet code known with ALi's revision naming convention ended with a letter E.
The eBay listing picture part also indicated Rev. E (the 9845 data code marking part).
I also ordered bunch of other ICs like VIA Technologies VT82C694T (Apollo Pro 133T), 2023 manufactured VT82C586B (PIPC or S7-SB) and VT82C686B, and other relevant ICs like clock generator ICs from an eBay seller named top-chips.
top-chips did indeed pack the ICs well along with making sure the right parts and quantities were included in the order.
Some people might be hesitant to buy ICs from China, but at least I had good experience with this seller.
