Hi!

IIRC, several models had a hotkey to enable an additional BIOS setup page to show CPU model and speed, but I don't remember that key.
Does anybody?

I know some BIOS had advanced settings that were hidden away and could be accessed. I had to look them up because I couldn't remember them either, but I also don't have an Acer system here to test it out.

Fn + Tab while starting up:
When the laptop is off, press and hold the Fn and Tab keys, then hit the power button. Release the keys when you see keyboard lights, then repeatedly press F2 to enter the BIOS.

Fn + Tab while in BIOS:
If you're already in the BIOS and the advanced menu isn't visible, try pressing Fn + Tab multiple times (some users report three times).

Ctrl + S:
Some users have reported that pressing Ctrl + S while in the BIOS can reveal hidden option.

I do recall doing this in the past, I just don't remember the specifics. If all else fails, I found quite a few forum posts and Reddit threads on this subject you could browse via Google for more ideas.

Thanks. I googled before posting. None of these work.

I have a BIOS update file for that machine and I can spot the string 'System Information' there. But debugging/disassembling a BIOS is beyond my skills.
