Hello!

I ran into an unexpected problem, need some extra brainwork.

I built a PC from retro parts, wanna make it a powerful winXP rig.

AMD FM2-a78m board, X4-750k processor, radeon hd 7950. Everything has XP drivers nicely downloadable, BUT:

Windows sets up, drivers are ok, no excl. marks in device manager, after restart i have black screen, PC restarts itself once again, boots into last working state, but only in 640x480 4bit resolution. If I change resolution into anything else, it will black out again. Everything else is working fine.

What can be the possible causes for this?
