I'm using a 386 motherboard based on the VIA VT82C481 / VT82C495 chipset. It contains a BIOS core that I don't normally encounter, an AWARD 4.20. Modbin allows me to enable the PS/2 Mouse Support option, but I am not able to get the mouse working in DOS. PS2SUPPC detects a mouse, but when I run the test programme, using the mouse hangs the system. The motherboard is an FIC 386-VC-H. https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/fic-386-vc-h

Has anyone had success getting PS/2 mice working on AWARD 4.20 BIOSes? I've attached the original and Modbin edited BIOSes.

The attachment FIC_386-VC-H_based_on_VIA481-495.zip is no longer available

This one doesn't appear to have the PS/2 mouse support in INT 15h, at all.

That is unfortunate. Luckily, I was able to locate the AMI BIOS image and modded it for PS/2 mouse support.
