Hey guys,
I received this Albatron 6600GT yesterday. It has 128MB of memory installed, but empty solder spots on the back for more vRAM.

The attachment IMG_20250321_195048259_2.jpg is no longer available

The attachment IMG_20250321_195055895.jpg is no longer available

So I added 4x Samsung GC20 chips onto the back side, and it doesn't show a picture any more. Same with a 256MB BIOS.
My guess is that there is a memory strap resistor somewhere on the back of the GPU which tells the card how much vRam it has.

Can someone post some pictures of their 256MB 6600GT? Asus had some models. Layout doesn't have to be identical to this card.

Best case scenario would obviously be, if someone had a 256MB card with exactly this layout but that would be like winning the lottery.
