Based on the categories of performance, stability, and features, what are the top three 486 motherboards?

Please explain the reasoning for your answers.

There are plenty of good boards out there. My personal favorites are the Lucky Star LS-586E and Zida (Tomatoboard) 4DPS. These two are quite reliable and support higher end 586 chips. They are late model PCI boards. I have very little experience with early ISA only and VLB motherboards. I only have one VLB 486 build - don't remember what model the motherboard is - it's a SiS chipset, ISA/VLB ony with PS/2 and CR2032 coin cell holder, it runs pretty well for a VLB system. No stability issues so far.

The best 486 + VLB motherboard is the ASUS VLI-486SVGO/486SV2GX4. The X4 has the voltage regulator for DX4 cpus.

SIS 85C471/407 chipset, 1024KB L2 cache, CR2032 coin battery, PS/2 mouse header, BIOS supports Enhanced IDE.
