I can recommend the T5720 for Geode fun.
I have one with the PCI card modification. It down clocks to play 486 speed DOS games well with the SetMul tool developed by one of the VOGONS community whos name I cant remember.

Hi Guys;
After around 12 years of working with retro computers i am finally coming to a point where i want to start cutting off all the fat and have 1 or 2 systems.

How do you imagine your 2 PC lineup, but agree if your trying to have a small number of computers cover many era's lack of ISA isn't desirable

Recently i got all my dos games working fine apart from Descent, on my P3 440bx 450mhz, I also played around with a few early Win95 titles and they are also working, except for Interstate 76 which always causes me problems no matter the system.

So in your opinion were does a Non ISA Socket 370 stand in that?

Thanks for your input.

I think that IS your answer! it doesnt.

I find I can cover most of dos AND Win9x era with a P3 600 that has both an ISA and PCI sound card.
Dos games that run too fast that I use a 486 for, but if space was an issue would be ok with using dosbox for those few titles.
Any Win9x games that are too slow on the P3 work fine on my LGA775 WinXP PC.

Your always going to have troublesome games where you either have a specific PC or compromise and , I76 is a common one. a non ISA S370 could fit this role, but now you have 3 computers!

It is a subjective choice. I try to avoid duplicate rigs due to space limits. 86Box, PIII (Win98), Athlon64 (WinXP), PhenomII X4 (Win7) fills a very long period without much overlap.

I happened to focus on rigs I never owned. I had a Pentium MMX, K6-2, Athlon, Athlon XP, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad so I'm not interested in that.

Pentium III 900E, ECS P6BXT-A+, 384MB RAM, GeForce FX 5600 128MB, Voodoo 2 12MB, Yamaha SM718 ISA
Athlon 64 3400+, Gigabyte GA-K8NE, 2GB RAM, GeForce 9800GT 512MB, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS
Phenom II X6 1100, Asus 990FX, 32GB RAM, GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
