Which drivers would be preferrable to use for a Diamond Voodoo 1 card, in a Win 95 setup?

The 3dfx reference drivers (version 3.01 from May 1999)
or
The Monster 3D driver drivers (version 4.10 from Feb 1999)

3.01 did not work properly for me on an older pentium system, but that may have been something specific to that test setup.

the diamond drivers have a bug with their gamma control and lack a vsync toggle in their panel.
