I know this might be on the edge as a subject here but I am looking for version 1.0.2 of the SC-88 ROM. I have one here that is equipped with v1.0.1 and I just want to upgrade it for the sake of it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or maybe has an SC-88 with that version and is willing/able to make a BIN file?

I can't directly help you with that, but I wonder if SC-88 and SC-88VL ROMs are interchangeable or not. If they are, you might have more potential avenues to explore.

I believe the VL rom/bios is different unfortunately.

Update: Fate had it that I sold an SC-33 on "marktplaats" and the guy who bought it had a malfunctioning SC-88. I offered to have a look at it to see if I could repair it (which I did successfully by replacing all the capacitors and repaired a broken trace due to leakage-damage on the digital board as well as replacing no less than 13 front panel buttons) and by pure luck this module had the v1.0.2 ROM installed so I couldn't resist to make a copy of it.

So if anyone would be interested..... I have it now. 😀
