Hi there, I had an ASUS P2B-F motherboard laying around in my storage room, because after i put an isa videocard into it, it stopped giving post codes and it wont get past 00. Before testing the ISA videocard, it was working perfectly fine. Any idea where to begin with? I tried different cpus and memory sticks and it didnt work.

Maybe the BIOS has just gone bad, try reflashing it.
Reseat the CPU, clean all contacts. Hope it works!

It sounds like you have a post card? Does it show all the voltage rails? Do you see the reset led light up briefly and turn off at power up? Can you check the power supply with another system or try the board with a different power supply? Does the isa video card work in another system? I would remove all cards (except the post card) and all drives and see if that changes anything. I usually check the cpu voltage with a multimeter and the bus frequency with an oscilloscope but I'm not sure how to do that on a slot 1 system.
