S3Trio64V2 1MB PCI card reported as REALmagic64/GX. I know it is pin compatible with Trio64V+ but this is new to me. Either card has wrong bios or both Hwinfo and NSSI is reporting wrong info. Chip is 64V2.

Any opinios?

It was previously suspected that the SD6425 aka RealMagic 64/GX was really just a rebranded S3 Trio64 with a modified BIOS and drivers. They look really identical:

Chip is S3 but detected as Realmagic. Probably they used wrong bios for the card, but it simply works.

Probably tried to customise it so that it does not look like a common garden variety one. Hacked the bios. Card would likely not work right if it were the wrong bios.

If RealMagic SD6425 is really only remarked S3Trio64, then is possible, that vBIOS from S3 will work with RealMagic and vice versa. Anyway, boot screen from RealMagic is this:
