Mirror's Edge could probably take a lead here, for its parkour and definitely the heights.

MS Flight Simulator could be another one if you can get the sense of speed from the first person view and maybe taking in a wider FOV

Horror games don't fascinate me much on the topic tho

If this got a really thorough VR port it would be amazing, but possibly vomit inducing because of the pace of the game:
Robot Rollerderby Disco Dodgeball
Awesome game. The player base has dried up at this point, but it's still a lot of fun to play offline against bots and you can even make your own game modes.

Would be absolutely incredible as a LAN (or even local) multiplayer game with everyone on VR. It's fairly sensitive to internet lag, but the timing of things is so tight that you can throw a ball (fast) at another player a few feet away and if he anticipates it properly he can actually catch the ball before it hits him (and if you practice a lot, this even works with moderate ping online). If a VR version also had a mode that used actual player hand and arm movements to throw and catch it would be insane (though very different from the default mode).

EDIT: The game has built in gif recording, which makes doing crazy things even more fun. Here are some I recorded and uploaded several years ago (sorry, the quality is bad because they have to be shrunk down a lot): https://giphy.com/channel/ozzuneoj

Imagine doing this stuff in VR. 😀

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

An Iron Man VR game would be amazing.

There's a game/experience called Richie's Plank Experience that includes a mode where you can fly around the city using these rocket boosters. It's insanely fun. Taking that concept and applying to a higher-budget game with an IP like Iron Man would be incredible.

The Oregon Trail would be fairly immersive if VR extended to all senses..!

I can't wait to die of dysentery in VR!
