Unable to run 3D Mark 99MAX with S3 Trio3D 4MB SGRAM (86C365). Exactly this one: https://www.vgamuseum.info/images/palcal/s3/365st300b.jpg
The mainboard is Azza PT-6SBT. Exactly this one: https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/azza-6sbt-pt-6sbt

Software configuration:
Direct X 7a, Windows 98SE.
S3 Trio3D Windows 9x Driver version * 4.10.01.2204-2.61.06 *
SiS AGP 1.21 driver

3D Mark 99MAX exits immediately after run the demo.
For exactly same installation moved to i440BX board it works fine. Then looks like there is some problem with chipset and/or its driver around AGP. If I use SiS6326 graphics on SiS5600 board everything also works fine.

S3 Trio is an excellent choice for DOS, but it's not a good 3D accelerator. Sure, you can run some games that support the S3D API like POD, but that's all it can do. Buy an nVidia M64/Vanta or ATI Rage Pro.

Interesting case. The SiS5600 chipset can be pretty picky with AGP implementations, especially when paired with older AGP cards like the Trio3D. Since your setup works fine with the same software environment on an i440BX board, it's likely the SiS AGP driver isn't fully compatible with how the S3 card initializes or maps memory. You could try an older version of the SiS AGP driver or disable AGP texturing in DXDiag to see if that changes anything. Also worth checking BIOS settings — sometimes tweaking AGP aperture size or disabling sideband addressing can help with compatibility quirks.
