I while ago I made a post related to my ASUS P55SP4 (rev 1.4), which I had some boot issues with.. the cache chips being the main suspect for not booting up properly.

A few days ago I got my hands on a COAST module and want to give the motherboard a new try.

The attachment IMG_4692.jpg is no longer available

But alas, no luck.. I get no POST at all 🙁

I have connected a diagnostic card as well.. it shows no codes.

Other hardware is:
2x 16MB EDO
Intel Pentium 90 MHz

The attachment IMG_4689_1.jpg is no longer available

When powering on the PSU starts, and the diagnostic card lights up. I can feel the CPU getting warm.. but then nothing happens. No code sequences on the diagnostic card, and no beep.

Any ideas what can be the issue?
