Ok, will do later. I also found a small photo plus mention of the SL6JV in an article. In the Intel Spec Update it is listed as 1.5GHz but this shows it was actually a 1400MHz. This came up several times in forum discussions.

This should work. There is a new column for country of origin.

The attachment SIVnew.txt is no longer available

Intel PCN refers to this document:

Thank you. After I changed SIV to skip the "-" before the S-Spec I got as below, all 7 issues are there being no CPUID.

Being able to do this check is great as I am now pretty sure SIV has all the correct S-Spec information.

AS close as we can get anyway. The Intel documentation is the most reliable but it is obviously not 100%. Glad you can work with it.

I better check sSpecs of my stash one of the days ... Have a lot of CuMines

If it's dual it's kind of cool ... 😎

Memory4less is an odd club; you can type in many S-Specs + [memory4less] into Google and you get a huge amount of hits. Alas almost never with a real photo and I sincerely doubt they are able to deliver.

Eviledeath does not seem very generous with additonal info on his items but you could try ?

If they did deliver I would be surprised. I get the impression some CPU collectors just collect CPUs and never run them, I like to run all my CPUs at least once and generate a SIV save file. For day to day i486 testing I usually use a DX4 @ 120 MHz and only run the slower ones when I have a need to.

I have at least 4/7 of the P!!! CPUs Eviledeath is missing 2 x Slot 1 600 + 2 x Slot 1 866 + 2 x Slot 1 1000 are in running systems and I have a 600B looking for a home.

That 500MHZ SECC was supposedly released October 25th 1999. The Intel Specification Update that first contained Coppermines was published november 1999 (see attached) and it does not contain a 500 MHz SECC and no mention of a cA0 stepping.
Evildeath does not seem to know the voltage of his own cpu =>[Voltage 1.6, 1.65 ou 1.7VV] so my guess is he had an engineering sample or it was fake news.

Maybe H3nrik V! will find he has some of the S-Specs that aren't in the update and post what CPUIDs they actually report.

I expect if it was engineering sample he would say this, further it doubt it would have an SLxxx type S-Spec, it would likely be Qnnnn

About to get out the drawers and make a list. But none are ES

I have been adding code to check years and suspect aug2000 should be aug 2000, should it please? I also noticed here are 125 without a date at all.

SL5QW cD0 068Ah 1.10GHz/100 Coppermine 256 N/A ECC C FC-PGA (370 pin) aug2000

The dates were handiwork for as far as I could find them.

aug 2000 for consistency

Thank you, I have now added all the Celerons to SIV and noticed SL6RM is B0 in your database and I expect from CPUID 06B4 it should be B1, should it?

SL6RM is B1 - I don't even know how it can appear as B0 in the output I sent earlier.

Strange, my SL3JP is dated '98, why do you have 1999 in your database please?

I just checked the common sources and they all have 1999 as release year of the Katmai. Maybe your sample is an early edition.... nice !

I don't think so and my 2 x SL3JT are also '98.

I think we just hit on the difference between actual production that is marked on the package and official release dates by Intel. When you check some of the cpu's listed here you can find Katmai's marked '98, '99 and '00.

Currently we differ as in the attached and based on the attached images I feel your dates are too early so will use the later dates in SIV.

With luck we should soon have proof that the CPUID of SL55R is 0686, just like all the other Stepping C0 + cC0 CPUs.
