On windows XP 32 bit I am unable to run 3dmark 1999 and 2000 when I am using my rage 128 pro cards.
3dmark2001 works perfectly although I get single digit framerates, so it's not very useful for that generation of cards.
I've already tried to reinstall directx but the installers seem to do nothing as directx is already installed.
What should I do?

To reinstall DirectX or install older versions, you need to uninstall the current one, for which Microsoft gave no tools. That is why other tools like DXUninstaller are used.
