I've had a lot of luck over the years repairing motherboards that have issues. Sometimes it's just dirt, other times it's a bad connection, bad ram or something easy to troubleshoot.

For systems that don't boot but power on when you press the switch, I've found corrupted bioses to be the issue. I've physically removed/desoldered them, flashed them on another system and that has recovered many boards.

Other times it's bad caps or mosfets, usually with obvious damage.

But one issue I've not had good luck with is a board that turns on as soon as it has power. The power button held for 5 seconds probably does nothing but may turn it off so there is like and function there. PCI diagnostics cards show nothing. No beeps either. has anyone had any luck with these ones or have any common approaches? I have a wonderful Premium 1 board with this issue right now and would love to fix it.

Could be anything.
Dead chipset, short or open smd cap/res, bad solder, dead power components.
The only way to tell is to diagnose it properly with a multimeter, and other tools.
Plenty of yt vids on board diagnosis and repair.
