I’m STILL trying to get this Soyo 025L motherboard working. I get one long repeating beep every time I power on. I’ve touched up solder connections on one of the 72pin slots that seemed a tiny bit loose but probably wasn’t.

The cache memory is configured as shown in the image. Is this even a memory error or am I chasing the wrong thing?? Would cache cause the same error? There is nothing on the display. Voltage regulator shows it’s supplying 5volts.
I’ve tried two or three different combinations of two 72pin sims with no luck

Why is it every time you post and give up you find the problem??? Broke the pin trying to fix it so I’m about to replace the SIMM slot now!

Well, desoldering attempts is leading to the pins just falling out 🤣.

Well… my donor board has super hard to remove sockets so I ordered a new left polarized one from mouser.com
