Hi, i'm planning on (rebuilding) a system with an ecs sis745 motherboard and a mobile Athlon XP cpu (I need a wider clock speed range). But I'm a little confused about the different models after scrolling through Wikipedia. Example: AXMH2000FQQ3C and AXMA2000FUT3C. Both have the same bus/clockspeed, but one is 72w and the other is 45w. Is one actually slower per clock than the other?

Also there's 2 separate categories of Thoroughbreds on Wikipedia:
Mobile Athlon XP "Thoroughbred"
and
Athlon XP-M "Thoroughbred"

and again, completely different voltages/wattage for the same speed and (presumably) same core.

Any help would be appreciated

They're exactly the same cores as the desktop equivalents, but the XP-M and Mobile versions are cherry-picked 'golden samples', which remain stable at the rated clock speed with lower core voltages applied. They're also multiplier-unlocked, which can be an issue for some desktop boards if they don't allow a multiplier to be set in the BIOS.
