I got an old atlhon XP 2400+ from an old stuff store and every time I tried it on my windows XP machine it doesn't post.
I tried many times, reset the bios etc nothing works.
I got my money back but the store didn't even bother to ask me to give it back so I'm with a dead CPU here.
It looks good, doesn't have any cracks on the die or damaged components as far as I can see. Do you guys have anything I can try before throwing it away?
Maybe try to put in the oven in case is some solder problem?
Thank you.

Nope, possibly burnt out die. These can burn up with no visible signs, much like the early ones.
