I bought an untested Abit VA6 that doesn't POST. I have no idea what's wrong with it. I tried a different CPU, different RAM sticks and video cards. Nothing.

Diagnostic card also doesn't show anything. Could this be a sign of a dead/corrupted BIOS? I checked the board with a magnifying glass and couldn't find
anything physically wrong with it.

Have you made sure you have a good bios battery? I've had numerous boards not post or behave strangely with a dead/low/mission bios battery. Do you have a post code reader to see if anything is happening?

It's a VIA board, 693A, not really worth it.

Abits from that era were notorious for bad capacitors. Could you post a few closeup pictures showing the caps.

VIA chipsets of that era have a tendency to silently die. I have a VP6 here that does the same.
