Hi all,

I've decided to create a new post for this question, so 😀
I would like to diagnose or repair if needed motherboard 486 GIO-VT2, but I'm not sure about jumpers like PS1 and and a strange socket with RN20, RN21 and RN22.

Can you please describe or put some links about such socket (RNXX) - how looks or what is the purpose to make sure about what it is ?
I see that for eg Intell 80486DX2 it's not needed to use the RNXX but eg DX4 (P24C if I'm not wrong) requires the middle one - RN21.

PS1 pinout: Re: VRM voltage module for a 486 motherboard to take 3.3V CPUs
For 5 Volt CPUs you need to jumper 1-2, 3-4, 13-14 and 15-16.

For 3.3 Volt CPUs you need a VRM, like the one in the pictures on this page: https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/fic-486-gio-vt2
or you can make this: Re: What retro activity did you get up to today?

I'll check both (Sunday most probably) options but not sure for now where to get this black chip B000J - only alibaba or if you now where else ... I already have this GBU4J, I thought about this that maybe will be easier to apply such change

thank you !!!
