Hi all! Just picked up this neat Presario CDS 954. It's a DX4 100Mhz machine. I am having problems booting it. First of all I can't access the BIOS settings... I tried all obvious keys such as ESC, DEL, F2, F10 etc. and none worked. I removed the old HD from it as it was shut and it did automatically detect a change in hardware and asked if I wanted to save the new settings. However, it will still not boot from HD. I tried it with several HDs and none worked. I suspect it's because they differ in size and settings, but since can't access BIOS it won't let me change the settings to correct ones. I did manage to boot it from a floppy drive so I know it does boot. I searched internet for drivers or setup, but I found very little. The only stuff I found has dead links. HP does not have any files to support this system. I found a tread here as well, but all the links are also dead and those refer to a somewhat different machine. I would greatly appreciate any help/info on this. Thank you!
