I'm trying to get the proper drivers for my Sound Blaster PCI 128 card to avoid music delay in DOS games (running in Windows 98SE).

Here’s my setup:

- Motherboard: Matsonic MS7308E
- Chipset: SiS 630ET
- CPU: Intel Pentium III 800MHz (Socket 370, FC-PGA)
- GPU: SiS 630ET IGP with 64MB shared
- Onboard audio: AC'97 (disabled)
- Dedicated sound card: Sound Blaster PCI 128
- Hardware ID: `PCI\VEN_1274&DEV_5880&SUBSYS_20001274&REV_02`
- OS: Windows 98 SE

I’ve tried several drivers. Here's what I noticed:

1. Some drivers won’t install or are incompatible with this card;
2. Some work, but don't offer proper Sound Blaster emulation for DOS games (within Windows);
3. I found one driver that works — but there's noticeable **music delay** (sound effects seem fine though).

I suspect this might be caused by using a **WDM driver** instead of a **VxD driver**.

So my questions are:

- What’s the best/most compatible driver version for this card in Windows 98SE?
- How do I get **true Sound Blaster emulation** with **no delay**, especially for DOS games?
- Are there known VxD drivers for the **ES1371 chip** (which I believe is used in this card)?

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
