I've just completed a new build in an old Chieftec 1997/98 case. It's a Pentium 75 system to be used for old DOS games only. I'm not a fan of older AT systems, so this is the slowest ATX based system I could imagine. Works great, and with L1+L2 cache turned off, it runs Test Drive III almost perfect.

But, for some reason I can't get the power LED to work properly. All the other connectors work fine (HDD LED, Reset SW, Power On/Off and Speaker). Can't fint a manual for this board either - the one at Retro Web has a manual with a different board layout.

The case comes with a 3-pin connector (with only two wires) - middle left empty. Looking at the board it seems that it accept only a 2-pin connector. At first I tried moving around the 3-pin connector to every position, but no light. Then I moved the ground wire to the middle position so that the connector was in effect a 2-pin connector. Now the LED works, but it stays on all the time - I have to remove the power chord to stop it from shining...

Any ideas?

Try using the 2 pins for the turbo led instead.
