Has anyone seen this Trident 9750 graphics card with an RJ45 port instead of a VGA port? 🤔

Maybe it was an early attempt of a digital output?
Maybe it was meant to output images to another equipment (i.e.: it was installed in some kind of medical machine, or a fiery)?

Could it be part of the Buddy B-210 setup? I've found some information on their website through Archive.org. Apparently it's a card that allows 4 users to share the same computer. See this link: click! 😀.

Buddy Controller Card Specification
- Video Driver Interface: Compatible with Trident's RAM BIOS and Win95/98 Driver
- Communications Cable: Category 5, standard ethernet pin out, with RJ-45 connectors

So now you'll have to find a Buddy Junction Box and software to make it work 😉.

And the rest of us would be carousing the aisles, stuffing baloney.

Thanks! Isn't it possible to find its pinouts to convert the RJ45 port to VGA? 🤔

If you have access to an oscilloscope it should be easy enough to differentiate the signals and filter out which are RGB, H & V, which should be enough to drive a monitor.
Figuring out what is R, G or B is likely best done by displaying only Red, only green & only blue image whilst measuring.

good luck.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.
