It seems like over the past two years we have seen a lot of thing going away, A couple of other things that come to mind are the os/2 archive (hobbes?) and the end of AandA tech

You can add Adaptec/Microsemi nuking their whole driver archive to that list.

It actually started... Damn, cant beleave it was just under 10 years when Sony did a big clear out!
Sony ending downloads for anything prior to Windows 7

Then Intel the following year
Intel is purging drivers for EOL hardware starting Oct 29,2019

But yes does seem like things have accelerated, I guess as it becomes more and more out of date.

Main issue with the modern web is unlike before it's not designed for computers anymore.
I used to think what's wrong with a basic HTML page until someone pointed out that modern pages have to be able to resize depending if your using a phone or PC.
and sadly the phone seems to take preference in the design phase.

That's interesting that they were still offering it. In my country, last time I saw someone offering dialup was 10-15 years ago.

I don't even think there is even a single BBS running anymore (except via telnet).

Kinda interesting news. Are there other dial-up internet providers still active in U.S./Canada? Maybe in remote areas or poorer counties?

Was a recent video on youtube about trying to use AOL one last time and he mentions MSN and someone else still have dial up (I'm not US based so didn't recognise the name)

I looked it up a bit.

MSN seems to really still provide Dial-up access.

The other mentioned service is NetZero. But I couldn't access their Internet offer to check if they still offer dial-up.

Juno seems to still exist. When I was in U.S. 1999/2000 they used to offer a free dial-up. I think their software showed ads or something, in return.

DSL Extreme seem to still offer dial-up too. Some others: Dialup for less, LocalNet, SnowCrest, Isomedia, etc...

There's quite a few of them. Canada search also gives several names.
