I did. Unfortunately, I get an error 'Zip file is damaged, truncated, or has been changed since it was created. If you downloaded this file, try downloading again'. No worries though, I posted this about a year ago, and I'm happy with what I do have available now. Plus, as I mention, I'd have no way to legitimately register the software for continued use.

Here is a 16-bit version of an editor dll/test app I wrote over two decades ago. It has syntax coloring, and some other nice features. It does lack word wrap, though not so important for code.

I've updated this to scroll with ctrl+pgup/pgdn so that windows 3.x under dosbox-x can respond reasonably to the mouse wheel when configured correctly. Over a year ago I silently added a 32-bit version that works in win32s.

I just like the fact that you have carried on developing the software all this time 😀

Once I got wheel scrolling working, I started laughing. Enough people have spent time getting 16-bit windows working nicely in dosbox that you can achieve WFW nirvana if you desire. It's funny that it's possible, and that there are others like me who bother doing so. Video drivers, mouse integration, calmira. At some point it just becomes funny.
