Hey, thanks for making that great game, and thanks even more for allowing people to freely distribute the shareware version without restrictions 😀
Your post still are under the thread’s subject IMO so there is nothing to feel bad for.
… and while this thread was going, yet another game from the collection is going to be rereleased: Bio Menace will be remastered and sold on Steam. Does that mean the original will stop being freeware? Hopefully not.

In various videos the dev team for the remaster has indicated that the IP remains owned by the original programmer/developer from the 90s, Jim Norwood. So Jim himself would have to change his mind about his old decision to make the dos version freeware. Personally, I think that is an unlikely outcome. Jim seems like a great guy on this point and even facilitated the free release of a Biomenace dos prototype version a couple years ago.
