I got a mobile HDD rack, and it's made entirely of plastic.

I used 4 screws to attach it to the PC chassis. But this doesn't provide enough grip to hold it in place while I insert the HDD inside. And overtightening screws in plastic is also not a good idea.

Any ideas how to screw it on tightly enough, and not to damage "threads" in the plastic casing?

Which brand it is? StarTech for example made quality racks. Can you post a picture?

Hi, maybe a little washer made of rubber will help?
Or, as an alternative, a homebrew washer made of a piece of cardboard?
