this picture was saved from dosdays.co.uk, but its small and blurry, and i really wanna know more info about it.
i also remember someone in china showed me a trident 8900d or 8900dr with 32pieces of 32kb dram, but can't find the picture now...

there was a time when 256kbit DRAM chips were in short supply and it was cheaper to use 64kbit ones. Or the manufacturer just had a large inventory of them.

The Cirrus Logic chipset had a configurable interleave between memory cycles devoted to video output and cycles for CPU access, depending on the speed of memory connected.
