The other texture packs are here: https://www.tombraiderxtra.com/ - the main packs really - some retexture the entirety of TR I.

There are a fair number of new textures in UB, but the texture packs are still useable.

The menu problem isn't that easy. It's the original game binary that looks for those files. I haven't yet worked out what the cause of the problem is.

Not to be a broken record but I have already stated several times what the problem is.

Both menu screen graphics have the exact same file name: "TITLEH.PCX". Therefore, they can't both be in the same "data" folder directory that TombATI looks in for said file at the same time.

If you put the base game's "TITLEH.PCX" in the "data" folder both Tomb Raider and Unfinished Business will use that asset for the menu graphic. If you put in Unfinished Business's "TITLEH.PCX" in the "data" folded instead then both Tomb Raider and Unfinished Business will use the Unfinished Business asset for the menu graphic.

TombATI has to be able to load both and display the correct menu graphic based on which game is being played.

Yeah, I get that bit, but what was confusing me is that the importer just copies from GAME.GOG in TOMBATI, suggesting that the same "single location for two versions of a file" problem occurs in GAME.GOG. I say "was" because just as writing this, I may have realised what the problem is.

Here's a solution: download https://download.glidos.net/TombATI/UBTitle.exe. It's a tiny texture pack that contains just the UB menu image. Select that pack for use with UB by running TombATIConfigure.exe. If you want to use a different texture pack, but still have this menu then copy the file TITLEH.png from this new texture pack to the one you want to use. Actually, better (say if using Silverlok) would be to make a copy called SilverlokUB and drop TITLEH.png into that. Then you can both TR I and UB working with their correct menus.

Which texture pack is fully complete and covers ALL assets?

Once I know this I will install said pack along with the mentioned fix and confirm that the issue is resolved.

Advice on texture maps is complicated. I think Silverlok is the only one that contain all assets (or nearly all). Actually they all miss some assets for UB. But, in any case, my preference for texture pack is different for different levels. I'd recommend installing them all and use the configure program to swap to see which you prefer on a level by level basis. Certainly there's one in particular (and I forget which now) that for me stands out for the levels with black rocks and lava (maybe that applies more to TR I than UB, not sure). I think it's very much a subjective judgement.

I had the same crash when I first tried to run Unfinished Business with TombATI. The issue turned out to be that the extra levels need their own .PHD and .TUB files from the original Gold version, not just copied into the base Data folder. Also make sure the TombATI.ini points to the right level names, since the expansion uses different ones than the main game.

That's a little odd: C:\TOMBATI\patches contains several files, including tombati.ini and tombub.ini. The TombATI program should be loading tombub.ini, rather than tombati.ini when running Unfinished Business.

If nothing works, try launching through the older Tomb Raider Gold executable just to confirm the files themselves aren’t corrupt. I once found a quick workaround for this mentioned on https://www.incorp.com/resources/knowledge-ba … e-your-business, which helped with similar compatibility quirks.
