I guess this is now old enough material ..

Always on the look for cheap PC with ultra-low power consumption, I came across (dumpster) several Asus Transformer Book T100 models (T100, T100T, T100TA, T100TAL, T100TAF, T100TAM, T100TAR, T101TA, T101TAH, H100TA, H100TAF) based on the Atom z3740 processor and 2GB of RAM.

It seems the major problem with this PC family is the C12N1320 battery (which no longer holds a charge). Unfortunately, these PCs were designed not to start if the battery is dead. The idea would be to avoid having to replace the battery regularly on these PCs, which are starting to show their age.

In the photo attached, you can see six cables: two red, two black, one green and one blue. Would any of you tinkering electronics enthusiasts know of a way to bypass the battery so that, when plugged into the power supply, the PC starts without a working battery?
