Hello everyone,

I am working on preserving a rare Polish release of Olaf & Elmar (2004), published by Dante. The game was developed by Mike Wiering and uses his proprietary Nabokos engine.

I have successfully archived the installer on Internet Archive here: https://archive.org/details/olaf-and-elmar-na … kos-pc-2004.zip

I have a technical question regarding these mid-2000s Wiering Software releases. Since this is a localized version, I am trying to understand how the registration system worked for these budget titles. Does anyone have experience with the Nabokos engine or know if these Polish editions had a universal key or a specific way of handling licenses for archival purposes?

I'd like to document the full game for historical reasons. Any technical insight into the engine's behavior on modern Windows would also be appreciated!

Thank you!
