Hello everyone,

I am looking to preserve and archive the earliest retail floppy disk version (v1.0) of The Elder Scrolls Arena. I am making this post because I have scoured the internet attempting to find an archived copy. After turning up empty, I believe that there exists no archived version of this first release. I imagine copies that still exist are rare, but any help or information regarding this would be appreciated greatly.

If you know of an archive, or if you have a set of Arena floppies and believe them to be v1.0, please let me know. If you do have Arena, but are uncertain what version it is, version 1.0 was known for having 2 features (among others) that were patched later: Not being able to delete spells from your spell book, and not being able to toggle pixelation effect on message boxes with f4.

My hope is that if v1.0 is found, the disk images can be dumped and archived on archive.org, making them available for enthusiasts to experience. If not, then I fear v1.0 will be lost with time.
