Hi everyone, I got a Toshiba T2400ct laptop in terrible condition ! You can see in the photos, the card handling the pcmcia ports, keyboard connector, mouse button, and the BIOS, is dirtily broken ! In addition, the RAM card had missing/broken component. As I have another T2400CS one I was able to test it, replacing that broken bios/keyboard/pcmcia card and ram card, and the motherboard seems perfectly working. So I tried to repair the broken elements. For the BIOS/PCMCIA/keyboard card, I tried to save at least the part with the bios to try to make the laptop boot/post again. To do that I repaired all broken/cut track I identified, some of them with metallic bridge to repair the connections between front/back side of the card, some of them with thin cable. You can probably guess what hell it has been to do that ! So I'm almost sure I repaired all tracks involving the bios, but at the end it doesn't seems to be working, I can't get the laptop boot, no sign of life when using that bios card.

For the RAM card, I compared missing/broken component with the one on my working T2400CS one, it is not exactly the same ram card, but still very similar. I replaced missing components with some I got on dead toshiba board from several models, and I bought some other (mostly resistor, a bit bigger than the origial ones so it looks a bit dirty !). But after that, the RAM card seems still not working (tested on the other T2400CS I have). (photo of the ram card on next message because of the picture number limitation per post !)
Would you have any advice on how I could repair ? At least I would like to repair the RAM card, as it should not be that complicated to do. Thanks !
