Best Thanksgiving Dinner.
Actually the best dinner is with loved ones and friends
But I would like to Share some of my Favorite recipes.
Turkey:
If turkey is frozen thaw over night.
Slow cook in Oven at 375 degrees
Cooking time is between 3 to 5 hours.
Its best to start cooking early in the morning because your turkey will need to rest
Another hour after cooking before serving.
If you want the turkey to cook faster don’t fill cavity with stuffing.
Place turkey in Pan and cover skin with soft butter.
Fill cavity with your favorite stuffings mix
Place cloth over top turkey and pour bottle of white wine over cloth
This will help keep the turkey moist during cooking so you meat will
Not dry out.
Cover with Foil and Bake in Oven, Baste every 40 minutes until done.
When done remove cloth and uncover place back in oven and bake until skin is brown.
Stuffing:
In a Pan or bowl add Stuffing bread mix, Chopped Celery, diced Carrots, chopped Black Olives, chopped Turkey Gizzards
Bottle of White wine, diced Turkey liver. Mix well , cover and bake in Oven
Most of the Alcohol will evaporate in the Oven but your kitchen and food will have an AMAZING Aroma and food will taste Great.
I promise this food will not make you drunk in the slightest bit.
Whats your Thanks giving Dinner Favorites ?
I bought like ten of these a couple of weeks ago when they were on sale, and tonight we finally get to dig in. Oh boy oh boy oh boy!
I think it's safe to say that the next couple of weeks are gonna be the friggin bomb indeed!

Making the traditional British Sunday roast for the family this evening:
Honey and mustard baked gammon joint, honey roast carrots and parsnips, peas, cabbage (though only my wife and our youngest eat it!), mashed potato and turnip with lots of butter and pepper (I'm from the north ... so it's the northern/Scottish use of the word - elsewhere uses Swede).
No Yorkshire puds this evening though - my kids will hate me for forgetting!
Would normally cook a batch of stuffing if we were having pork or chicken, but won't bother for the gammon.
