I used the zip from the first post, and it did install the WDM.
My card has the same ship CT5880-DCQ.
I didn't know nusb can have this side effect ! I probably use version 36e.

IIRC, it only happens with later versions, such as NUSB 3.6 that you're using. Basically, that will turn your OS into a sort of Frankenstein build, somewhere in between Win98SE and WinME. See this thread for more details.

You can download the older NUSB 3.3 from Phil's website. It doesn't have this issue while still providing full USB flash stick support.

I already have nusb33, I just thought it was a good idea to install the latest version.
I never had any problem with it.
This make sense now.
