NVIDIA GeForce 595.59 WHQL Driver Fan Problems

I realise GPUs supported by the 595.59 driver are not old, but many members will have "daily drivers" that will use this driver.

Both my RTX 3080 + RTX 2080 now only have one fan speed reported when with all recent/all previous drivers two were reported.

Looking at https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/nvidia-gefo … not-use.459519/ this seems to be a general issue so I felt I would post about it.

Does anyone have a GPU and get more than one fan speed reported and if so which GPU is it please?

Update: Looks like NVidia have pulled it, it's now 591.86

How on earth did they fail to find this in validation? As cockups go this must be near the top of the list

I basically always stay at least one driver version back, just for cases like this. If a driver fixes something that I need, I'd still wait at least two weeks.

The same thing with the monthly windows update.

Wise decision, I wish I had that option. As I develop SIV I feel I need to have the very latest drivers so I can check the SIV GPU reporting is all it should be and if there are issues be "ahead of the game".

Dont they have their AI trying to write their drivers now..... . They probably use the same AI for validation.
