A small ask for help with the Rozner Labs version of the game for DOS. Could those who have it and also have two ordinary PC joysticks let me know if their version actually recognizes the two sticks when configured to use Joystick 1 / 2 for Player 1 and Joystick 2 / 1 for Player 2 respectively?

To be clear, this is a question on the "The new challengers" issue, not SSFII Turbo. This was also the one released as part of SSFII Bonus Pack with 6-button game port controller and van Damme film VHS.

Thank you very much ahead for your help, to those who respond!

UPD:

Maybe it's better if I explain why I am asking in the first place - the version I have sitting on my hard disk does not properly function with the two joysticks control setup.

I have looked up online, and the Rozner Labs version does not seem to be the best available for PC. I was attracted to it because of it's unique control method that allowed for 6-button gamepads in DOS, but looking at the snapshot of the manual from GAMETEK's SSF2T, I can see that the latter claims to also support this type of controller! Still, while I don't yet have SSF2T to test it out, I have passed time a bit by patching Rozner version of SSF2 to fix what seems to be input configuration bug in the game, and now the second stick works, allowing me to play head to head with two Champion Edition joysticks from New Wave, which is, well, sweet.

Attaching the patch.
