so I had that 16mb 72pin simm upgrade. It was a successful install and tested 16mb alright ! Only, what matter to me is that I had the 3.0 version so I had to install JP8 jumper header. The 3.0 GUSPNP has the two default jumper hardwired with some kind of jumper braces that I had to remove. One of the very flimsy o-ring went off with the operation and while it's unused in my new setup, I would like to repair it so I can stop worrying and love the mod, in case I want to roll back to 8mb. My understanding is that JP8 pin 1 and pin 3 are linked together and that dont work anymore, but it's easy fix, my question is where does the pin 1 of the JP8 goes ? It seem to travel under the IDE connector so I cannot see. Can someone be so kind and tell me where it goes so I can test continuity and install a patch cable.

JP8 Pin 1 (green) is removed so the trace have no continuity. Another fix would be to remove the black plastic jumper header stopped and fill the o-ring with solder to redo continuity, but then again, I would like to know where the trace under the IDE CD-ROM connector goes.

Thank you very much !

So after noticing the jumper 5 and 7 where similar to the 1 and 3, and being hinted that this jumper block is the ram bank selector you need to redirect with the simm72 pins upgrade, I found that jumper 5 and 7 of JP8 where connected to pin 2 of inner 30 pins memory socket. So I could install a (gravis red) patch cable as I was not able to repair the trace from the upper side of the card to the pin 2 of the outer 30 pins memory socket. I now tested the guspnp with 2x4mb and it work alright. So in the unlikely event that I need to downgrade that simm72 addon with 1x16mb, I wont split my hair searching why the guspnp dont see full ram 😅
