Hi!

I have a notebook, and I attached a second monitor to it.
The notebook is the primary monitor, and the secon monitor is extend the desktop to the right side.

On the primary monitor DOSBox works fine. But if I move the Dosbox window (or any running DOS game just like Battle Isle 2) to the extended desktop, the window freeze (do not refresh but runnig). If I drag the window back to the primary monitor, it starts to work fine again (in practice continue the run).

For me it looks like the DosBox do not get or do not handle the messages when it is on the extended desktop.

Have anybody experienced the same problem before?

Try changing the output method in dosbox.conf. In surface mode it should always work. Some of the other hardware accelerated methods may have trouble this way, also depending on your video card and driver combo.

Thank you for the idea, but unfortunately the method is on surface mode already, and it does not work 🙁
There is a 945GM Express chipset integrated intel video card in this Dell D620 notebook.
It would be really nice to have some fun during worktime, so if anybody has any idea please give me a shout! 😉
