I have a disk of Hydlide II for the PC8801 that I think worked once, but is now suddenly going into a never-ending booting loop.

When I put the disk in then turn on the computer, the usual PC88 BIOS screen shows for a split second, then goes black for about 1 second, then it goes to the BIOS screen again, and repeat.

Basically in a nutshell:
BIOS Screen > Black Screen > Repeat

I have no idea why It's doing this, and information on this is extremely scarce (At least in English). If anyone has experience with these computers, does anyone know what would cause this?

My computer is a PC8801MKIISR by the way.
