Hi all,
First of all, I'd like to say that I've read a few of the posts here about Rendition Verite emulation, but they were from roughly 10 years ago, so I'm not too sure whether things have changed since then. (RReady, for example, fitting 99% of essentially all needs for the 13 or so native Speedy3D/RRedline games out there).
But I'm tackling a different problem, i.e. actual low level emulation of the entire card, including the RISC engine, the Triangle and Pixel engines, the FIFO, etc.
Current status is that vQuake runs, Windows drivers load, the emulation is at the point where bugs aren't first order bugs.. rather they're the stuff you discover when the basis of it has been implemented correctly.
But here's a question I'd like to ask...
Would it be of any use to most people, and if not would anyone here, or anyone you know be interested in said emulation?
Thanks.
