Im running a V2 Voodoo on a pure Dos system. When it comes to 3dfx DOS Games i loaded some glide2x.ovl and tryed to run Tomb Raider and shadow Warrior with 3dfx.
Both running fine when i put the Voodoo with systemparameter in V1 compatible mode. But without the colors are totaly off and screen flickering.
The card is tested with windows setup and working fine..

So i wonder was there a different ovl file for the V1 and V2 ? Or did they should work on both?
Im little bit confused. Without the ovl and just a dll the games dont find to point to kick in the V2 voodoo.
What im doing wrong ? Or is voodoo2 "mode" windows only?

You need a V2 glide2x.ovl for the V2. The one for the V1 won't work. The glide2x.ovl from the 3.01.01 or 3.03.00 drivers seem to be the best for DOS games as the one from the latest driver (3.02.02) doesn't seem to work that great.

Hi, @Jackhead,
For me TR1 in DOS works best on Voodoo2 with modified GLIDE2X.OVL from "v1compat" folder inside "v2_win9x_fixed.zip" archive attached here: Re: Trying to solve the Voodoo1 on faster systems problem...
